The Southern Museum of Flight is located at 4343 73rd Street North in Birmingham. You can visit the museum Tuesday through Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. As far as the cost of admission goes, the following is a breakdown of prices:

Exhibitions to Discover
At the museum, you’ll be able to explore various exhibitions that shed light on important moments in history regarding air travel. There are several exhibitions that you’ll be interested in. For instance, the Korean War Jets Exhibit highlights the defection of Lt. No Kum Sok as well as the events following his defection. You can see two of the primary fighter jets that eventually became adversaries during the Korean War.
Another exhibit you won’t want to miss out on is the Tuskegee Airmen Exhibit. Here, you’ll find a diorama display that honors Alabama’s famed Tuskegee Airmen. Not only does this exhibit shed light on an important aspect of American history, but it also gives you the chance to learn more about Alabama history as well.
The Lake Murray B-25 Exhibit is a true delight and was even featured on the History Channel! This aircraft was recovered from Lake Murray in South Carolina in 2005 after 65 years underwater. Lake Murray was originally known as “Bomb Island” due to the fact that the USAAF conducted exercises during World War II at the location.
