These events are geared to bring together friends and neighbors for an evening spent enjoying the dazzling decorations adorning the community tree and thinking of the fun days to come. Hoover’s Tree Lighting
The Hoover Christmas tree lighting event is scheduled for Thursday, November 29 at 5 p.m. at Hoover City Hall. Attendees can park at Hoover Public Library and take a free shuttle to the event site, where the following will be some of the highlights of the evening:
- A performance by Hoover City School choir
- Tree lighting by Hoover City School student
- A snow play area
- Light refreshments
- Santa’s grand entrance on a fire truck
- Pictures with Santa
