Don't Miss The Backstreet Boys At The BJCC
Whether you grew up with their CDs on repeat, or you’re just a fan of sweet harmony, you won’t want to miss the Backstreet Boys when they come through Birmingham on their latest tour!

When and Where

The show will go on at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex on Wednesday, September 4. The music begins at 8 p.m., with Baylee Littrell opening the night. Tickets start at $39.50 and are available via Ticketmaster. If you arrive at the venue early, you can always explore the neighboring Uptown entertainment district. Grab a bite at Eugene’s Hot Chicken, Southern Kitchen, or any of the other fantastic restaurants, all within steps of the complex. You can also relax with a cup of coffee at Octane while waiting for the showtime. The BJCC is located at 2100 Richard Arrington Jr. Boulevard N, Birmingham, Alabama 35203.

DNA World Tour

The Backstreet Boys released their ninth studio record, DNA, back in January, and followed up in May by embarking on a massive world tour. The vocal harmony group has been filling arenas across Europe all summer, and now they’re back in the U.S. to play their latest songs across the country. While they’ll bring new material to the BJCC this September, they have a long career full of hits and fan favorites to pull from. You can expect to hear classics like “I Wanna Be With You,” and there’s no escaping the waves of nostalgia when they take the stage dressed in-costume to call back to their “I Want It That Way” music video. It may also feel oddly transportive to see Brian Littrell’s son on stage as the opening act, the mirror image the pop singer’s youth. The band is touring with a unique stage arrangement, with the performing space jutting out into the crowd, with a special section in the center. Fans who opt for this center spot will enjoy an incredible 360-degree experience, surrounded by the Backstreet Boys.

Full Circle

The singers can thank their mellifluous harmonies for landing their first record deal years ago, when they would sing a capella covers to demonstrate their vocal chops. A capella covers have found their way into sets ever since, but for this tour, the Boys have prepared their own song to deliver with the vocals-only treatment.
