Come out and enjoy some great baseball this summer with your hometown team, the Birmingham Barons. The guys have a lot of exciting things planned this year and can’t wait to see you at the ballpark. Here are just a few of the promotions that you can enjoy in May and June.
Friday Night Fireworks
Come out for an old-fashioned baseball tradition with Friday Night Fireworks every week presented by Hibbett Sports, Alabama Power, and Coca-Cola. May 5th the show is set to music inspired by Cinco De Mayo, May 19th the show will feature the music of the Star Wars Franchise, June 9th its classic rock hits, June 16th Alabama-born & raised artists, and June 30th the show will be set to the music of the legendary Rolling Stones! In addition to the fireworks, there are also great special event games with the Barons. Check out what great activities and giveaways your hometown baseball heroes have in store for you this summer.
May 19th – Star Wars Night
May the force be with you, and may it help the Baron’s rack up another victory when they go head to head against the Tennessee Smokies. Come out dressed as your favorite Star Wars Jedi or Storm Trooper and get a chance to have your picture taken with beloved Star Wars characters. Star Wars Night is presented by the 501st Legion.
May 20th – Kids T-Shirt Giveaway
The Barons take on the Smokies for the third game of four in the series. The first 1000 kids 12 and under will get a free Barons T-shirt. Lots more to do one this date with Girl Scout Campout Night & the Saturday Entertainer Series featuring “Zooperstars!” presented by Red Diamond and CBS 42.
June 10th – Mini Bat Giveaway
Come out and watch the Barons rally against the Mobile BayBears. The first 1000 Barons fans through the gate will get a mini bat courtesy of Mezrano Law Firm.
June 12th – Kids Camp Day
Your hometown boys take on the Mobile BayBears once again. Come out and show your support and enjoy Kids Camp Day with the team.
June 18th – Father’s Day Pregame Catch with Dad
Another great baseball tradition. Come out for a Father’s Day Pregame Catch with Dad presented by Amtrak before the Barons take on the Jackson Generals. Also, fans are encouraged to check out all of the great local food and beverages with stalls and vendors during “Eat Local Drink Local”. It’s also Salute to Armed Forces Sunday, so get a $2 discount when you show your valid military ID at the ticket office.
Your Birmingham Barons have a great summer of fun planned so come out and enjoy some great baseball, good times with family and friends, and once of a kind experience. All games are played at Regions Field in Hoover, Alabama. Ticket prices and start time vary.
