Veterans Day Events near Hoover, AL
Join the Spain Park Band on Thursday, November 9, 2017, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. as they honor America’s veterans with a special Veterans Day Remembrance concert. This free event will be held at the Spain Park High School Theater located at 4700 Jaguar Dr., Birmingham, AL 35242.
Enjoy Performances by the Spain Park Symphonic Winds & “Pride of the Park” Marching Band
The Spain Park Band Department is the home of Spain Park Symphonic band, Shades of Blue Jazz Ensemble, Spain Park Color Guard and Winter Guard and the Marching Band. The entire Spain Park Band Department is proud to be a part of this special event to honor those who have sacrificed so much in defense of our country.
Special Events at the Veterans Day Remembrance Concert
There will be a variety of special events during this concert including a re-enactment of the battle of Iwo Jima. In addition, Hoover city council members Mike Shaw and Dr. Casey Middlebrooks will be speaking. All veterans will be publically recognized during this event, as well.
