Mt. Laurel Elementary Turkey Trot – Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017
The 11th annual Turkey Trot run will be held at Mt. Laurel Elementary school on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017. This year’s event will consist of a one-mile fun run only. The fun run will start at the school located at 1 Jefferson Place Birmingham, AL 35242 and wind through the Town of Mt. Laurel and finish back at the school.
There will be awards given for the top three male and female finishers in the following age divisions: 5 and 6, 7 and 8, 9 and 10, 11, and 12. Top overall girl and boy in the fun run will receive a Thanksgiving turkey. Be sure to register for the Turkey Trot online so you and your family can be a part of this race!
Magic City Half Marathon & 5K – Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017
The 7th annual Magic City Half Marathon and 5K will be held on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, in downtown Birmingham around Regions field. This race drew more than 2,000 participants last year and turnout is expected to be even better in 2017. The event benefits The Ruben Studdard Foundation for the Advancement of Children in the Music Arts.
You can register individually or by team for the Magic City Half Marathon and 5K online. There will also be post-race entertainment, craft beer, and great swag for this event.
