It’s time to celebrate the season with a wide variety of musicals, shows, and events at the Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center. There are a ton of “must see” events leading all the way up to Christmas with something for the entire family to enjoy. Here are a few of our favorites for the holiday season:
Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer The Musical – Wednesday, November 29, 2017
Everyone’s favorite reindeer, Rudolph, will be at the BJCC for one night only on November 29, 2017. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer – the Musical will feature appearances from all your favorite characters from the classic tale: Santa and Mrs. Claus, Hermey the Elf, the Abominable Snow Monster and, of course, Rudolph! It’s the perfect show for kids of all ages and teaches us that what makes us different, can also make us special. You can purchase tickets online and the show starts at 7 p.m. with a 75-minute runtime including intermission.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” – Wednesday, December 13, 2017
The legendary Trans-Siberian Orchestra will be performing at the BJCC Wednesday, December 13, 2017. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. and the TSO will be performing the holiday classic “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve.” Anytime the TSO performs it’s always a hot ticket, so be sure to purchase your ticket now. They will be in Birmingham, AL for one night only and you don’t want to miss it!
Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker – Saturday, December 2, 2017
It’s the 25th Anniversary tour of the world-famous Moscow Ballet and they will be appearing at the BJCC on Saturday, December 2, 2017, to perform the holiday classic “The Nutcracker.” More than 40 ballerinas and dancers appear in this show that features lavish costumes, ornate set designs, and incredible stage characters.
