Get to Know the Trims of the 2017 Ford Fusion

2017 Fusion Alabama

Figuring out which 2017 Ford Fusion trim level you should be driving around Alabama doesn’t need to be a challenge, even with all of the available configurations. In addition to the Fusion Hybrid and the Fusion Energy Plug-In Hybrid, the regular gas-powered 2017 Fusion offers five different trim levels. Learning more about them will make it clear which one you should choose.

2017 Ford Fusion S

The base version of the 2017 Fusion is the S trim level. It runs on a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder. The exterior features LED taillights, automatic headlights, and 16-inch alloy wheels. Inside, you get the convenience of full power accessories, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, and air conditioning. This trim also comes with a rearview camera, height adjustment for the driver’s seat, a 60/40 rear seat, cruise control, phone and audio voice commands via Sync, a USB input, an auxiliary audio jack, a CD player, smartphone app integration, and four speakers. This trim lets you add an Appearance Package.

Ford Fusion SE

If you want LED daytime running lights, 17-inch wheels, and exterior keypad entry, go with the Fusion SE. this trim also gives you an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat plus power lumbar, 6-way power for the passenger, a rear fold-down armrest, rear heat ducts, satellite radio, and six speakers.

In addition to the Appearance Package, the Fusion SE can be configured with a Luxury Package with things like remote ignition, leather upholstery, heated mirrors and front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and LED exterior lighting. The Technology Package adds parking sensors, Sync 3 with its 8-inch LCD touchscreen, 11 speakers, and more. If you have the Technology Package, you can also get navigation and various advanced safety features. The Driver Assist Package adds BLIS, automatic wipers, automatic high-beam control, and more.

Fusion Titanium

The 2017 Ford Fusion Titanium automatically upgrades you to a 2-liter turbocharged engine, upgraded headlights, 18-inch wheels, and a rear spoiler. Inside, you get 8-way power adjustment for the front passenger, sport front seats, 12 speakers of Sony sound, HD radio, and all the features found in the SE’s various option packages. The same navigation and advanced safety, like adaptive cruise control, automated parking, and frontal collision warning, offered on the SE are available for the Titanium. You also can add the Driver Assist Package.

2017 Fusion Platinum

The Platinum version of the Fusion comes with every single feature in the available packages on the other trims. It also has its own unique grille insert, a power-adjustable steering wheel, and upgraded leather trim.

Fusion V6 Sport

At the top of the line, the V6 Sport trim builds on the SE with the Luxury Package but with a unique grille and turbocharged V6. It also has 19-inch wheels, a rear spoiler, quad exhaust tips, adjustable suspension dampers, simulated suede and leather upholstery, and nine speakers. You can upgrade this trim with the standalone options, the Driver Assist Package, or an Upgrade Package to give it features of the Titanium trim.
